Nan’s Garden Dedication

The warm days, summer sun, thunderstorms and humidity provide the conditions for gardens to thrive. Teaming in color and wildlife, leaving much for our visitors to enjoy! Highlights from Lasdon, Westchester’s Public Garden include native plants and pollinators in Nan’s Secret Garden. Nan’s Secret Garden was dedicated to Lasdon Park and Arboretum founder, Nanette L. Laitman, daughter of William and Mildred Lasdon. We had a beautiful day celebrating Nan in the new garden this past May. Planted with all native plants, it has been peak of pollinator action visit to see for yourself, join in a garden tour with Head Gardener, Madeline Byrne, or participate in Pollinator Fridays with Educator, Emily Fountain in September.
